Ashley C. Williams is an award-winning actress known for the cult horror film The Human Centipede (First Sequence) and the revenge film Julia.
Ashley grew up in Charlottesville, Virginia, where she started acting in local theater productions at the age of 10. She was home schooled during her high school years to have more time for her creative ambitions, then moved to NYC upon the decision to pursue acting full time. After graduating from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, receiving the highest honor , the Charles Jehlenger Award, she went on to star in a string of new Off-Broadway productions, and along with close friends, founded a production company called Mind The Art Entertainment, where they wrote, acted in and produced their own work in the heart of the East Village. After starring in her first feature, the sadistic horror cult film The Human Centipede, Ashley’s film career took off. She appeared in the web series Selene Hollow, and the film Paranormal Movie, among others.
She then went on to star as the title character in Julia, for which she has won a handful of awards for her performance. It was released theatrically in the states in 2015 to rave reviews, including The Hollywood Reporter, which stated that someone should give the “actress a break” and “she delivered a compelling performance” etc. Ashley continues to pursue being a part of quality, meaningful story telling and even writing her own scripts that she hopes to get off the ground.
She has most recently completed the horror film The Church, starring Clint Howard. The film is in post-production.
