The charming brothers are definitely dashing, but the real package is their brains – creative, intelligent, and with a flair for mystery and atmosphere. Philip, an accomplished award winning Director, Digital FX Artist and Editor, is the eyes while Christopher, a successful film and music Producer, Production Designer and Composer, became the ears of their ventures. Together they have written, edited, animated, directed and scored some of Billboard’s Top Ten releases including, film features, erotic thrillers, music videos and overseas releases.

Their film and documentary credits include: Spooked: The Ghosts of Waverly Hills Sanatorium, Death Tunnel, Children of the Grave 1 & 2, Soul Catcher: Trail of Fears, DarkPlace, Immortal Island, ShadowBox, Ghouls Gone Wild, and The Haunted Boy: The Secret Diary of the Exorcist, the real life case of the St. Louis exorcism that was the inspiration of William Peter Blatty’s The Exorcist.  Their movie, The Possessed, about the first documented case of possession that happened in Watseka, Illinois in 1870, was winner of the “Best Paranormal Documentary 2009” by Haunted America Tours.

The boys got into paranormal investigation almost by accident. While filming the horror movie, Death Tunnel, at Waverly Hills Sanatorium, they had experiences that couldn’t be explained by science, so they had to look for another explanation. This brought them into contact with Keith Age, the resident paranormal investigator at Waverly Hills with more than thirty years of experience, and a new era of paranormal documentaries was born.

“If you really care about seeing something, it will change your life if you see a ghost. You’ll realize that something exists beyond this plane… You’ll know that something exists on this plane that people can’t explain. It will make you look deeper into yourself, knowing you can make a difference by not following the sheeple. You won’t follow anymore, you’ll lead.”  Philip Booth

As documentary filmmakers, they specialize in chronicling stories of the supernatural by entering some of the most haunted, and disturbing places on Earth.  Their feature length film documentaries explore some of America’s famous haunts, like the Waverly Hills Sanatorium, considered one of the scariest places on earth. The Brothers did an amazing job of catching the feel of the empty halls of the huge structure.  Driven to tell the untold stories, they do extensive research into each location they film and frequently unearth never before seen information. Their only true goal is to present the facts of the tale and attempt to bring some type of closure to the subject via their own unique production style. The capturing of ghosts on camera and/or on their plethora of detecting devices is just an added bonus.
John Tincher from ParaUnderworld Magazine said this about the Brothers’ work; “There is something to be said for people in the paranormal film making industry that continuously and without fail bring you real, true and honest stories from haunted locals across the nation.”

The Booth Brothers can be found online on Facebook under Philip Adrian Booth and Christopher Saint Booth. They can also be found at and on the website for the ScyFy and Chiller channels.

Newest project from the creators, The Booth Brothers, of Death Tunnel (Sony Pictures) and Spooked (SyFy) comes a shocking new horror film, Dead Still where upon the death of his great grandfather, Brandon Davis a wedding photographer inherits an antique camera famous for taking Victorian death photography.
