Chad was born in Lethbridge, Alberta Canada on March 29, 1982. At an early age, while performing in a small School Play as the role of, Santa Claus, Chad found the act of portraying a different character mesmerizing and had almost immediately caught the “acting bug”. Throughout his younger years, he knew that acting was definitely what he wanted to pursue in life and right out of High School, Chad entered into a well known Model and Talent Competition/Convention where he ended up winning 7 out of the 8 Events including, “Best Monologue” and “Best Commercial Actor” and was selected as a “New Face” Model which led Chad to signing a Professional Modelling contract where he would end up appearing in multiple International Ad campaigns.
Although the modelling world offered numerous opportunities for Chad, his main focus was still on acting and soon relocated to Vancouver, Canada to pursue that venture.
After arriving in Vancouver (aka Hollywood North), Chad immediately started from the bottom, obtained an agent and began the challenging audition process, which soon landed Chad a supporting lead role in the Independent Feature Film, “Sleepover Nightmare” and the Fox Television Series, ‘John Doe” where he starred opposite, Dominic Purcell (“Prison Break”) and William Forsyth (“Dick Tracy”). Finally, Chad was doing what he loved…acting!
With on-going training, Chad slowly built himself up quite the resume over the years including multiple Lead Roles in Films such as, “My Life as a Dead Girl”, “The Wingman”, “Texas Road” and “Brotherhood” and memorable Television roles on such series as “Supernatural”, “The Flash”, “Bates Motel”, “iZombie”, “Cult”, “Motive”, “The Secret Circle”, “Sanctuary”, “Cedar Cove”, and “Alcatraz”.
With the continued success of his acting career, Chad developed and now operates his own Production Company, CheckMate Films and has recently written, directed and starred in his own Comedy Feature Film, “The Perfect Pickup” and is currently in the pre-production and writing stages of his next two films, “The Asylum” (Horror) and “Walk the Walk” (Comedy) of which he again plans to both direct and star in.
Chad continues to work both in front of and behind the camera as he has recently directed the Music Videos, “I’ve Told Lies“, “Love U More” and “Cruel” for Music Artist, Dani Le Rose and the debut single Music Video, “Left the Best Unsaid” for artist, Paul Lambert.

Alongside his Television career, Chad is also currently starring in multiple Film projects such as the Anthony DiBlasi directed Horror film, “Extremity” where Chad plays the lead antagonist of the film, Red Skull, the Dinosaur Family Feature, “My Jurassic Place” and the Horror Feature, “Devil, Devil, Devil” opposite Erwin Leder” (“Schindler’s List”, “Underworld”), both of which he were filmed in Austria. He has recently finished the filming of the Thriller, “We Came From the Sea” in which Chad plays the only two characters in the film, opposite himself. Chad is currently working on the Science Fiction driven Web Series, “Plains of Snow”, where Chad plays the lead protagonist, Shanks, a rogue Psion (Wizard) who sets out to use his powers for the betterment of the nations. That’s not to mention last year’s Summer Blockbuster, “War for the Planet of the Apes” where Chad stars opposite Woody Harrelson (“True Detective”, “Zombieland”) and Andy Serkis (“Lord of the Rings”) as the sinister and violent Soldier, “Boyle”.
Chad recently relocated to Toronto, Canada where he hopes to continue working on his craft and love for acting, all while prepping to permanently make the move south to Los Angeles in early 2020. Needless to say, Chad is very excited about the future and can’t wait to share his upcoming roles just as much as he’s excited to take on the next one.
