Tim De Zarn was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. De Zarn is best known for his work in Spider-Man (2002) (playing Mary Jane Watson’s father), Fight Club (1999), Live Free or Die Hard (2007), The Cabin in the Woods (2012), Untraceable (2008), and Demon Knight (1995). He has appeared in several American television series, including Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, NYPD Blue, the various Star Trek TV franchises, Prime Suspect, Mad Men, The Forgotten, Lost, Criminal Minds,Weeds, Prison Break, Deadwood, The Shield, Cold Case, Quantum Leap, and 7th Heaven.

De Zarn has been quoted as saying “the best part of acting is being something you’re not, so that’s why I play the bad guys. . . It’s just too much fun!” His first broadcast role was on the TV series The Equalizer in 1986. His first film role was in the 1989 action comedy Three Fugitives.

Tim has finished filming the new Coen brothers western mini-series The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, as well as an episode of Longmire.  He also appeared on the web series Bro/Science/Life, which can be seen on Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s YouTube channel Seven Bucks Digital Studios!

Most recently you can see Tim on TV Series “9-1-1”, “Beerfest: Thirst for Victory”, “S.W.A.T.”, “Better Call Saul”, “Shameless” and ” Truth Be Told”. Tim has also been in films “Useless Humans”, “The Call of the Wild” and “Acts of Desperation”.
